Hi, I’m Patrick Jun L. Pineda, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. My IT career began in 2021 when I joined Integrated Computer Systems Inc. (ICS) as a Technical Support Engineer. I was fortunate to be part of a company that welcomed fresh graduates, giving me the opportunity to hone my technical skills early on. While stationed at BDO in Ortigas, I worked in a collaborative and supportive environment, where I not only strengthened my technical expertise but also developed a deep appreciation for teamwork and a positive workplace culture. After some time, I chose to resign from ICS to seek better opportunities and pursue my goal of obtaining a CCNA certification, which required a significant financial commitment. Inspired by Sir Billy Ramirez, I resolved to follow this path. During this phase of my journey, I passed the Napolcom Entrance Examination, which led to my successful application to the Philippine National Police at Camp Crame. Following a rigorous screening process and nearly two years of intensive training, I became a police officer. I was initially assigned to a counterinsurgency battalion, but my IT background soon led to a reassignment to the Regional Information and Communications Technology Management Division (RICTMD), where I worked as a programmer, further refining my technical skills. While exploring career growth opportunities, I discovered a Filipino cloud engineer known as Swertified on social media. His inspiring journey and expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services) captivated me and introduced me to the transformative potential of cloud technology. I was amazed by its ability to optimize operations, drive innovation, and reshape modern businesses. This discovery shifted my focus and ignited a deep passion for cloud computing, paving the way for a new career aspiration: to become a skilled Cloud Architect. I am now fully committed to mastering AWS and leveraging it to design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions for diverse organizations. Although I decided not to continue my CCNA path, this pivotal moment led me to the exciting world of cloud computing, where I am determined to grow and excel as an AWS professional. My journey reflects a continuous pursuit of learning and innovation, with a clear goal of contributing to the dynamic field of cloud architecture.
